Support and holding device, designed as a universally bendable element of rubber-elastic material, twistable about its longitudinal extent, by means of which a flexible brake hose, rigidly fixed by its end to a fixing point on the body side and rigidly fixed by its other end on the brake calliper or the like of a motor vehicle brake, can be led past between these fixing points without any contact on a wheel suspension member, capable of movement relative to both the vehicle body and the brake calliper, which element is detachably fixed by its one end to the wheel suspension member and, at its other end, the free end, has a circular passage for feeding through and mounting of the flexible brake hose. <IMAGE>
