摘要 It is known to foam aminoplastic foam polymers in cavities, for example between a tunnel lining and the rock face. However, such foam polymers alone have little compressive load-bearing capacity. In order to achieve a higher compressive load-bearing capacity, the invention provides first to insert supporting ribs 7 in cavities 4 to be foam-filled, which supporting ribs consist of quick-curing resins 8 incorporated in films. The grid of the supporting ribs 7 corresponds to the compressive loads to be expected. The regions next to these supporting ribs 7 are then foam-filled with foam polymer 5. Under surface pressures occurring, the supporting ribs 7 are loaded and not the foam polymer 5. Only after the drying of the foam polymer 5, with simultaneous compression of the supporting ribs 7, can the foam polymer 5, also be compressively loaded and, together with the supporting ribs 7, absorb a substantially higher pressure. <IMAGE>
