PURPOSE:To enable an easy installation of both a running board and a handrail or either of them at a tank proper as the need arises, without giving any influence to the tank proper after a tank lorry has been manufactured. CONSTITUTION:A tank lorry is equipped with a body frame 2 on which a tank 1 is mounted. On a upper surface of the tank 1 are located a side frame 3 and a protection frame 4 which absorbs the shock given to the tank 1 in the case of the tank lorry overturning. Brackets 5 are located longitudinally at intervals by being welded at a side of the aforesaid protection frame 4. A upper surface of the bracket 5 shall be flat to form a mounting surface 6, and a fitting perforation, by the use of which the running board B is fitted, is bored at a mounting surface 6. A concave part 8, in which a handrail R is hooked, is made at the outside of the bracket 5. This causes the running board B and the handrail R to be simply located as occassion demands. |
