Auxiliary device for individual freezing of berries or fruit. The device consists of one or a number of plastic plates 1 which is/are provided with recesses 3 for receiving individually berries or fruit. The plate 1 is provided with feet 2 and with cutouts 4 at all four corners so that any number of plates can be stacked one above another. The recesses are adapted in their size to the respective size of the berries or fruit to be frozen. The fruit is placed in the recesses 3 of the individual plates. A number of plates with fruit can be stacked one above another and the fruit can be frozen in this manner in the refrigerator. The berries or the fruit keep their shape in this case, do not clump and can, thawed, be removed individually for covering e.g. pie bases etc. <IMAGE>
