PURPOSE:To make the automatic adjustment of damping force in a hydraulic shock absorber corresponding to loading capacity attainable, by controlling the adjustment of damping force in a damping force variable type hydraulic shock absorber by means of a damping force adjusting controller, according to the output of a pressure sensor which detects internal pressure in an air suspension. CONSTITUTION:An air suspension 2 secures the damping force required for its function in a way of displacing hydraulic fluid into circulation in space between top and bottom individual hydraulic chambers 1c and 1d via each of damping force generating devices 1e and 1f installed in a piston 1g through an up-and- down motion of the piston 1g of a damping force variable type hydraulic shock absorber 1. And, when internal pressure in the air suspension 2 to be detected by a pressure sensor (unillustrated herein) installed in the air suspension 2 goes beyond the setting value, an adjuster 10 is rotated at the specified angle by a motor to be controlled by a controller whereby easy of orifices 1i and 1j of a stud 1k is choked, increasing the damping force. Likewise, if the internal pressure comes to below the setting value, reversely these orifices 1i and 1j are expanded wide, reducing the damping force. |
