PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by detecting the amplitude of a load current to vary the drive current of an output power transistor, thereby obtaining the optimum drive current irrespective of the amplitude of a load. CONSTITUTION:An output power transistor 3 is turned ON or OFF by the drive current from a drive circuit 8, and the rectangular voltage presented at the secondary side of the output transformer 4 is converted by a rectifying and smoothing circuit 5 into DC. The output of a current detector 7 which detects the primary current or the secondary current is applied to the drive circuit 8, thereby controlling the drive current. |
