PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of a cassette tape, etc., by constructing one side of a sidewall part in a floor console equipped with a box part capable of housing the cassette tape, etc., freely to be opened and closed in the car width direction. CONSTITUTION:A floor console 1 is mounted on a floor tunnel 3, and a box part 5 is formed on the rear part side thereof. The box part 5 is formed into a rectangular shape in its cross section, and provided with sidewall parts 7, 9 facing each other in the width direction, a front wall part 11 and a rear wall part 13 facing each other in the longitudinal direction of a car body. In this case, the sidewall part 7 on the operator's seat side is constructed to be freely opened and closed such that its upper part openes outward. Namely, a mounting seat part 19 is formed below and between both front and rear wall parts 11, 13 on the sidewall part 7 side, while a twice-folded hinge part 7c is formed in a body on the lower part of the sidewall part 7. And, the sidewall part 7 is mounted on the mounting seat part 19 by fitting a pawl 7d located on the lower surface of the hinge part 7c in a mounting hole 19a of the mounting seat part 19. |
