PURPOSE:To enable to manipulate a choke lever with ease while grasping a handle grip by hand, by disposing the choke lever near the shaft of a handle lever supported pivotally near the handle grip of a steering handle, in the manner that it is moved coaxially with a clutch lever. CONSTITUTION:Normally, a choke valve 71 is kept in inoperative state since a steel ball 45 inserted in a choke lever 40 is fitted in a point hole 61 formed in a point plate 60 by the force of a spring 44. Further, since the choke lever 40 is extended toward a handle grip 31, the lever 40 can be manipulated with ease by pulling it toward the handle grip 31 by a forefinger of a rider with the handle grip 31 being grasped by th rider's hand. After the engine is warmed up, the choke valve 71 is kept in inoperative state simply by bringing the steel ball 45 back to the initial position of the point hole 61 by moving back the choke lever 40 by a forefinger while grasping the handle grip 31. |
