PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost and facilitate the mounting to a car body or the like by a structure wherein an oil separation tank, a water separation tank and a communicating passage to communicate both said tanks with each other are integrally molded with synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The blow-bye gas in a crankcase 13 enters a breather chamber 43 and passes through a breather tube 42 to an oil separation tank 23. Lubricating oil in the blow-bye gas settles itself down by gravity and separates from the gas in order to return from an oil discharge port 22 through an oil return tube 44 via a return opening 13a to the crankcase 13. The blow-bye gas, almost all the oil content in which is removed, enters a water separation tank 26 through a communicating tube 27 and the moisture in mist and the oil content, which is left in the gas without being removed completely, settle themselves down and accumulate on the bottom of the tank 26 as a drain. The resultant blow-bye gas, the oil content and moisture in which are removed, is sent from a discharge port 24 through a breather tube 45 to an air cleaner to be reduced and burnt there. Because the tanks and the communicating passage are integrally molded with synthetic resin, the mounting is facilitated and the cost reduction is accomplished. |
