PURPOSE:To recognize effectively the contour of an object body having complicated density and shape, and a transparent part by selecting a back-ground of red, green and blue, whose density is known, for a non-object body, comparing and operating three kinds of pictures, and discriminating the non-object body. CONSTITUTION:An object body is fixed to a fixed position in space, a back- ground being a non-object body is varied to primary colors of red, green and blue, whose density is known, and the object body 1 is brought to image pickup and inputted by a picture input device 1. Said three kinds of pictures are stored in picture memories 2-4, respectively, and these stored pictures are inputted to a picture arithmetic unit 5, compared and operated, by which the non-object body is discriminated. In this case, in case of a picture element of the non- object body, the density of the picture element is different by three kinds of stored pictures, therefore, a picture element signal is discriminated as the non- object body by the unit 5, and its output is transferred as an extracting key signal to an extracting key signal memory 6. In this case, the memory 6 is controlled by an extracting key signal correcting circuit 7 through a controlling circuit 8, by a signal from an inputting circuit 9. In this way, the contour of the object body can be recognized. |
