<p>PURPOSE:To make the provision of a cursor moving direction input device on the screen of a pattern display monitor unnecessary, by displaying arrow keys for designation of the cursor moving direction on the screen of the pattern display monitor. CONSTITUTION:A CPU8 checks the current position of a cursor 12. In this case, an arrow key 14 out of arrow keys 13 and 14 is displayed selectively because the cursor exists on the left half screen. When it is detected by a touch key 5 that one of arrows KU-KR is detected, cursor information in an image memory 3 is so updated that the cursor 12 is moved in the designated direction by a basic unit length. If it is discriminated that the cursor 12 exists on the right half screen, the arrow key 13 is displayed, and cursor information in the memory 3 is updated. After updating information, another routine is executed, or it is checked directly whether the current position of the cursor is on the right half screen or not. Thus, the device is made small-sized.</p> |
