PURPOSE:To make a balance weight unnecessary and obtain a space for a thrust bearing sufficiently by a method wherein a follower link mechanism is provided between a rocking scroll and a driving shaft, transmitting a driving force to the rocking scroll, to utilize the component of the resultant of a gas compressing load and a centrifugal force, acting on the rocking scroll, for the radial sealing force of the scroll. CONSTITUTION:The follower link 18 is interposed between the rocking scroll 2 and the driving shaft 10, a follower link pin 11, provided on the driving shaft 10, is fitted into a follower link pin hole 13, provided on the follower link 18, the bearing 7 is fitted into and fixed to an eccentric hole 6 provided on the follower link 18 while a rocking scroll shaft 8, provided on the table plate 5 of the rocking scroll 2, is engaged rotatably with the bearing 7. A vibration restraining pin 12, provided on the driving shaft 10, is engaged with a vibration restraining pin hole 14 provided on the follower link 18. A straight line, connecting the center O'' of the follower link pin and the center O' of eccentricity, intersects with the vector of the resultant of a radial force F'' and a load F' orthogonal to the force F'' with a small angle theta. |
