PURPOSE:To improve the multiple address service of the picture data by totalizing the data of the terminating code when the picture data is received from a terminal at the receiving part of a multiple address device at the sensor side and deciding a reception error when the totalized value is different from the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:An EOL deciding part 3 delivers a detection signal L by an EOL signal of the picture data D. The run length data RLD extracted at a decoding part 1 are totalized at a totalizing part 4, and the shift bit data SH is sent to a counter 5 from the part 1. Then the counter 5 delivers a clock pulse CL of a designated number of pulses, and therefore the next picture data is accepted at a register 2. This operation is repeated to totalize the data of the terminating code for each line. The totalization data of the part 4 is fed to a deciding part 6. An RTC deciding part 7 delivers a page end signal B when the signal L is consecutively detected 6 times. A processing part 8 produces an abnormal signal NG when the totalized value (equivalent to one sheet of pictures) of the decision result A exceeds the prescribed value on the basis of the result A which is decoded and decided for each signal B, L and line. |
