PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of a printing head in printing operation, by expanding rubber over a head cover in the printing head of a dot matrix printer. CONSTITUTION:The rubber material 3 for reducing noise is expanded by coating over the metal surface of a head cover 1 and both materials are formed in one united body. Thereby, in printing operation of a dot matrix printer, the collision sound of the core and the armature in a printing head, the noise due to the vibration of the head cover 1 generated in impact operation of the printing head pin of the printing head part 2, etc. can be absorbed to be prevented with the rubber material 3 and its low noise can be achieved. |
