The decanting vessel is used for pouring out drinks from a coated paper container. The coated paper container is held within the jug shaped vessel with handle. On this jug is placed cover plate with piercing nozzle and decanting nozzle. The connections for pouring out are sealed and leakage of drink with subsequent spilling is prevented. The cover plate has a decanting nozzle (5) with a lower cutting edge (6). The nozzle near this cutting edge has radial holes (6f). The cutting edge is serrated and this nozzle can be rotated for cutting purposes. This nozzle is forced into the paper container by helical spring (8). The container is pierced also by an air inlet tube (4b) with a pointed end.
