PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect a sound direction not only in left and right directions but also in fore and aft directions, by detecting a sound direction by providing microphones to the apexes of a triangle in the same plane. CONSTITUTION:Sounds detected by microphones Mic A-C provided to the apexes of a triangle in the same plane set FF11-13 through BPF4-6 and comparators 7-10 each having a reference value set thereto. The high level Q- outputs of FF11-13 respectively set FF15, 16, 17 and reset FF17, 15, 16. By FF15-17 responding to the combination of detected sounds, pulses corresponding to the arrival time differences of sounds to the microphones Mic A-C are outputted and the detection of a sound source can be performed not only in left and right directions but also in fore and aft directions by the synchronism of these pulses and the presence and absence thereof. As a result, the automatic tracking of a sounding object can be performed excellently. |
