A valve intended for cutting off a fluid jet, and having a seat 18 arranged in a nozzle aperture and a valve body 30 which is movably arranged relative to the seat 18. The valve body 30 is formed with guiding surfaces 9 for the fluid. The seat, which has the form of a sealing ring 18 or similar, surrounds the nozzle aperture.
