PURPOSE:To inform a user of how long he shall wait until a device becomes in a picture formable state by displaying visibly stepwise by a simple constitution as to how long it take to become capable of executing a picture forming operation after a power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is provided with a copying time display part 3 which divides a set time approximated to the time when a picture forming operation can be executed after a power source is turned on, to plural steps, and displays visibly its time passing by a variation of the display contents whenever its divided time elapses. A display element 41 is turned on when the power source is turned on, display elements 42-44 are turned on successively as the time elapses, and in the end, when the device becomes a copying available state, a display element 45 is turned on. As a result, how long is a user to wait until the picture forming operation becomes an available state can be known easily. |
