<p>The process comprises reaction of at least one compound of a transition metal of gps. IVB, VB and VIB with at least one cpd. contg. oxygen. The latter cpd. can be an alcohol or water, and a non-reducing alkylating agent of formula ZnR2 or RZnX is also employed, in which X is a halogen and R is C1-20 alkyl. - The resulting complex is reacted with a magnesium halide and with an aluminium compound of formula AlRy'Xy'', in which y' and y'' are 0-3 and R and X are as before.</p> |
