<p>The process comprises reaction of a mixt. of a tetravalent titanium cpd. which is a mixt. of a cpd. of tetrahydrocarbyloxy titanium and an oxide of bihydrocarbyloxy titanium in a molar ratio of 0.1:1 to 10:1, with an organomagnesium component. A halide source and an organoaluminium cpd. are also reacted, on the basis of specific atomic ratios. - An excess of the halide is employed, to convert the magnesium component into a dihalide.</p> |
