The present invention resides in the field of fuel burners, more particularly that of ultrasonic fuel burners, with the purpose of overcoming the practical difficulties of use: starting, lighting, eliminating the droplet adhering to the radiant face, cooling the fuel slug, metering the air and fuel spray mixture, and eliminating large returning sparks. It is characterised by the creation of small gaseous cavities, by a flow of pulsed air, at the heart of the droplet adhering to the radiant face, and the presence of a discharger point within one gaseous cavity, giving rise to the triggering of an ignition spark between the point and the radiant face.
