Saucepan or similar kitchen utensil, comprising an inner lining 3 consisting of a prefabricated metal component which has a shape and a size which correspond to the inner size and shape of the saucepan 1 and which may be encased in the latter before cooking food and disposed of after cooking the said food. Compared with "Teflon" coatings, the lining 3 is unaffected by scratches or grazes and, because it is disposable, it eliminates the need to wash the saucepan after use. <IMAGE>
