Woodcutting system using a conventional chain saw. The apparatus is characterised by two main separate elements: a. A bench intended to support the cutting mechanism and the wood to be cut. b. An articulated mechanism using the bench as a support and capable of two simultaneous movements, namely of pivoting in a circular manner about a vertical spindle fixed to the bench and of obtaining a pendulum-like motion of the cutter for sawing.
