PURPOSE:To decrease the length of pipes in a supplier so as to improve its appearance and assembly workability, by arranging a one-way valve, which supplies secondary air to exhaust ports, in a part between the rear face of a front cylinder and the front face of a rear cylinder, in the case of a V-engine with its crankshaft laterally placed. CONSTITUTION:A water-cooled engine 11 of V-type side face with its crankshaft laterally placed is mounted between frames of a motorcycle, and a bottom space 16 is formed between the rear face of a front cylinder 13 and the front face of a rear cylinder 14. A secondary air collective chamber 25 is provided in the central part in the lateral direction on the bottom space 16, so that secondary air may be introduced into the chamber 25 through an air introducing part 31, control valve 33, secondary air flow out part 32 and joint hose 33 communicated and connected to a carburetor base 18. The secondary air is supplied to respective exhaust ports in the rear face of the front cylinder 13 and the rear face of the rear cylinder 14 from the secondary air collective chamber 25 through joint hoses 26, 28. |
