Extinguisher valve with permanent fluid pressure and with a differential flap normally held closed by the pressure of the fluid prevailing in the extinguisher and in a control chamber whose opening to the atmosphere causes the flap to open and the extinguisher to discharge, characterised in that it is equipped with a lock 37 for blocking the differential flap 9, traversing the wall of the valve body and interacting, in the space between two zones 12, 13 for sealing the flap in its closed position in the valve body, with a groove 38 of the said flap in which it has an emerging end having a certain axial play 42 in the said groove, so that it allows a flapping of the flap which is insufficient to open the outlet of the extinguisher fluid but sufficient to check the correct operation of this flap. <IMAGE>
