The present invention relates to the creation of a marking powder for surfaces (football pitch, etc.) and is intended to replace all conventional products used hitherto (eg: plaster, lime, etc.). Its originality lies in three points: 1. It is a non-toxic product; 2. It is a product which permits a reduction in manpower, maintenance and storage; 3. It is a product which permits a saving of the order of 50% in terms of the monthly upkeep of a football pitch, for example. It may also be pointed out that, currently, marking takes place at least once and sometimes two to three times a week: with this product it will take place, on average, only once a month, or even once every two months.
