The invention relates to the games of draughts and chess. It makes it possible to play these two games with three players, with the aid of a chromatic scale board and pieces in matching colours. It comprises a hexagonal board divided into 96 quadrangular, juxtaposed divisions (squares), which are alternately black and coloured. The coloured divisions (squares) are broken down into a chromatic scale, permitting characterisation of the three territories by predominant colours, namely one predominantly red territory, one blue and the third yellow: - three series of 16 chess pieces, and - three series of 12 draughts pieces, have different colours which match the territories, for each player, namely a red set, a blue and a yellow. An algebraic notation system permitting definition of the columns by A to L and of the lines by 1 to 12. The chromatic scale and the black divisions (squares) are printed on a transparent plastic support. The invention permits, by its appearance, the combination of design and game. It permits definition of three distinctive and easily identifiable territories without breaking up the unity of the total surface of the game. It permits rationalisation of the sitings of the pieces on their territory and makes it possible to facilitate comprehension of their movements from the start to the finish of the match. <IMAGE>
