PURPOSE:To surely feed liquid fuel by a predetermined amount, by independently forming a resiliently moving portion including piezoelectric magnetic material and a check valve portion, filling both the portions with magnetic fluid to communicate same through a line, and transmitting expansion and contraction of the piezoelectric magnetic material to the check valve portion with the magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:A liquid pump 2 is constituted of a resiliently moving portion 11 including piezoelectric magnetic material, a check valve portion 12 including a suction valve and a discharge valve, a rigid valve and a discharge valve, a rigid line 14 communicating the resiliently moving portion 11 with the check valve portion 12 and containing magnetic fluid 15 therein, and a magnet 13 normally attracting the magnetic fluid 15 toward the resiliently moving portion 11. The liquid pump 2 is arranged in such that the check valve portion 12 is communicated with an end of a liquid fuel feed line 3. With this arrangement, expansion and contraction of the piezoelectric magnetic material may be surely transmitted to the check valve portion 12 with the uncompressive magnetic fluid 15, and accordingly liquid fuel may be surely fed by a predetermined amount. Additionally, it is possible to increase the degree of freedom of mount position choice of the resiliently moving portion 11. |
