The device serves for transmitting the torque in an internal-combustion engine from the camshaft (4) to the ignition distributor shaft (3). According to the invention, one of the two shafts (3, 4) is provided with at least two projections (5), which are in engagement with the other of the two shafts (3, 4) and yield resiliently in the circumferential direction of the shaft when acted upon by the torque. This has the effect that the components are subjected to insubstantial loading, the torque is evenly distributed and relatively little noise is produced during operation. <IMAGE> |
