PURPOSE:To obtain a picture by a PAL exclusive use receiver by adding a carrier signal to a low frequency converting chroma signal in a video signal obtained by reproducing a source tape of the NTSC at a VTR and converting the added result into a chroma signal of the subcarrier frequency of the PAL. CONSTITUTION:The chorma signal in a signal obtained by reproducing a source tape of the NTSC system at a VTR is inverted at a frequency converter 1 by a converting carrier signal in 688MHz+4.43MHz from a converter 2. The PAL color subcarrier frequency 4.43MHz is obtained as a continuous wave in matching to a preoducing color burst, and a signal being in-phase with a singing burst signal of the PAL system is obtained from an output of a reference oscillator 3a by two phase shifters 5, 6 and given to a switch SW2, which is switched in interlocking with a switch SW1 switching the inverted signal, and a switch SW3 replaces the color burst of a chroma signal (a) transmitted from the SW1 at each other horizontal period into a PAL signal. |
