PURPOSE:To change simply the phase of a propagating wave with low less by providing a curved ferrimagnetic substance to a part of a dielectric member arranged on a conductor plate and forming an image line and applying a DC magnetic field vertically to the conductor plate by means of an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:The ferrimagnetic substance 6 is arranged at a part of the dielectric substance 1 forming the image line 3, and the electromagnet 9 comprising a coil 7 and an iron core 8 is arranged so as to magnetize the ferrimagnetic substance 6 vertically to the conductor plate 2. Further, while the ferrimagnetic substance curved depending on the direction of the magnetization represents different levorotatory and dextrorotatory circularly polarized wave permeability for the inner and outer circumference, the electromagnetic wave energy is concentrated biasedly in the direction representing the levorotatory circularly polarized wave permeability having a large permeability, the propagating path length of the electromagnetic wave is made different depending on the direction of magnetization, allowing to vary the phase. |
