The production method for a folded toothed zone of a magnetic conductor of an electrical machine consists of transverse cuts (6) being made in a chessboard pattern on each semi-finished product (7) which is constructed from a wire (2) having at least one ferromagnetic strip (3) laid along the semi-finished product (7). The distance between the two transverse cuts (6) on the one edge of the semi-finished product (7) is approximately equal to two lengths (C) of the magnetic conductor. The width of the ferromagnetic strip (3) is equal to the height of the tooth of the toothed zone (11). A small grooved box (9) is formed from the semi-finished product (7) and is folded in accordance with lines which pass through the transverse cuts (6). <IMAGE>
