In a cleaning apparatus for sewer pipes, consisting of a turbine (1, 2), with frontal tool head (4, 5) and pressure-water connection part (1c), provision is made for one and the same nozzle arrangement (3) to serve both for the apparatus advance (F) and the rotary drive of the turbine (1, 2). This is achieved by the fact that the nozzle bores (3) located in the shell (1) of the turbine (1, 2) are inclined with respect to the turbine longitudinal axis (L) and extend from the shell surface (1a) approximately tangentially to the shell inner side (1b). The cleaning apparatus is additionally distinguished by an additional housing (4) which is seated between the frontal milling head (5 or 6 or 7) and the turbine (1, 2) and has working tools (9) automatically emerging radially from its periphery under the action of centrifugal force. <IMAGE>
