The adapter, which is especially suitable for mounting large-area operating devices on small-area switching rocker arms on electrical installation switches, consists essentially of a specially designed frame which can be snapped onto a switching rocker arm. The use of such an adapter comes into question especially where existing small-area switching rocker arms of an installation series are already installed and are intended to be subsequently fitted with large-area operating devices.
