<p>The invention relates to a method for the quantitative determination of all the reaction steps in the purification of the blood plasma from waste materials pertaining to the kidneys (renal clearance) by means of a serum-soluble and radioactive substance which has been introduced beforehand into the body. In concrete terms, this means the quantitative determination or measurement of quantities of blood plasma purified in the kidneys per unit of time. In addition, the invention relates to a radiation meter and recording and evaluation unit for implementation of the method. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the quantities of radioactive substance present in the kidney and bladder are measured separately at intervals in time.</p> |
