Cloth-strip and cloth-edge cutting machine

The present invention relates to a cloth-strip and cloth-edge cutting machine which consists of a cloth-feed device and of a device for cutting the cloth. The set object of this invention is to carry out manual cutting work by means of motor-driven cloth-strip and cloth-edge cutting machines. The essential feature is that the cloth-feed device consists of a table arranged obliquely in front of the device for cutting the cloth and of 4 following rollers, elastic conveyor bands being guided over these for the purpose of transporting the cloth. Motor-driven knives are provided for cutting the cloth. For the perfect functioning of the present invention, it is of paramount importance that the drive of the 4 rollers be assigned a separate belt drive which runs in synchronism with the elastic conveyor bands and which guarantees a perfect and exact run of the cloth to the device for cutting the cloth. The construction of the machine is shown in Figure 1 which illustrates the arrangement of the 4 rollers and rotating knives.
