<p>PURPOSE:To enable assembling process of the other work, with respect to one work, without stopping said one work by putting an empty truck in a return movement at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A truck 5 for supporting and conveying an engine 6 is provided, by the side of a main conveyance line 1 which conveys a car body 2, so as to make a free reciprocating movement thereof in a movement course parallel to a main conveyance line 1. The truck 5 supporting the engine 6 is put in going movement at a speed substantially equal to the conveyance speed of the main conveyance line 1 from a point of time when the car body 2 conveyed on the main conveyance line 1 is brought into a definite positional relation to the engine 6. Under this condition, the engine 6 is assembled in the car body 2, while the empty turck 5 is put in return movement at a high speed up to the original point for receiving the next engine 6.</p> |
