PURPOSE:To easily discharge paper sheets by bulk, in an accumulator where paper sheets dropped and accumulated in plural accumulating chambers are discharged by opening a discharge port mounted on the lower portion of each accumulating chamber, by providing a pushing device having a pushing portion capable of freely moving along the accumulating chambers. CONSTITUTION:In an accumulator where paper money P classified by each kind of money is transported from a transport path 13 through a classifying gate 44a and an impeller mechanism 50 to be dropped and accumulated in an accumulating chamber 51, and the accumulated paper money P is discharged downward by opening a shutter device 16, there is provided a pushing device 17 including a pushing member 92 capable of vertically moving in the accumulating chamber 51. The pushing member 92 is fixed on a frame 91 which is a mover fixed to the moving part 90a of a slide rail 90, one end thereof being fixed to a side frame 53. The frame 91 is elevated through an arm 100, a link 102 and the like rotated through a bevel gear 99 by the rotation of a motor 94, thereby to vertically move the pushing member 92. |
