PURPOSE:To prepare boiled noodles recovering and reutilizing the heat and water as far as possible, by integrating an automatic continuous noodle boiling machine with a refrigerator acting as a source of chilled water for cooling the boiled noodles, and using the refrigerator as a cold-heat pump acting as a refrigerator and a heat pump. CONSTITUTION:The boiling tank 1, the cooling tank of boiled noodles 4, the cold water tank 18, the heating tank 7', the hot water tank 10 and the boiler 2 are supplied with required amounts of water, the boiler 2 is fired, the generated steam is sent (2a) to the heating pipe 3, and the refrigerator B is operated. When the temperature of boiling water in the tank 1 and that of the water in the tank 4 reach respective preset temperature, the first and the second endless belts 5 and 6 for the transfer of boiled noodles are driven to start the boiling operation. The water for the quenching treatment is heated by the heat of the boiled noodles, and the heated water is supplied (23) to the sprinkler 24, and sprinkled in the tank 18. The sprinkled water is chilled by the heat- absorbing action of the evaporator 19 having the outer surface frozen by the refrigeration cycle of the auxiliary refrigerator B'', and supplied (22) continuously to the tank 4 to keep the water temperature in the tank 4 constantly at a low temperature (about 0 deg.C). |
