PURPOSE:To enable separate identification of a plurality of buried objects by emitting a frequency modulated radio wave underground to obtain a beat wave signal through emitted waves and reflected waves, which undergo a frequency analysis. CONSTITUTION:An output of an oscillator 1 is reaches a transmission antenna 4a through a directivity connector 3a and then, projected toward the ground surface 9. A radio wave emitted from the antenna 4a is reflected on buried objects 10a and 10b underground and captured with a receiving antenna 4b. The reflected waves caughted with an antenna 4b are detected via a directivity connector 3b to become a beat wave signal. The beat wave signal is inputted into a sampling circuit 6 to perform a required sampling and then, read into an arithmetic unit 7. Results of a frequency analysis with the arithmetic unit 7 are recorded with a recorder 8. This enable a separate identification of buried objects even when existing in plurality. |
