PURPOSE:To automate oiling to respective pivotal portions of a traction chain on which a plurality of containers for receiving small articles are mounted to travel along an elliptic rail, by detecting a tooth groove of a sprocket to operate an oiler. CONSTITUTION:A warehouse for receiving small articles rotates a drive sprocket 7 with a motor 10 to rotate a traction chain 20 and move a plurality of containers 16 on both inner and outer rails 2, 3 through wheels 19.... Then, a photoelectric sensor 24 for detecting a tooth groove 7a of the drive sprocket 7 is provided on a strut 1a of a frame 1 close to the drive sprocket 7. When the photoelectric sensor 24 detects the tooth groove 7a, an electromagnetic air valve is opened through a controller. Thus, an air oil pump 27 is driven by air pressure passing through said valve so that proper amount of lubricating oil pumped from a tank is oiled from a nozzle 27a to the respective pivotal portions of the chain 20. |
