PURPOSE:To prevent snapping of a wire electrode and lowering of machining accuracy, by detecting the conditions of vibration and electric discharge of the wire electrode so that machining voltage is applied while both conditions are within allowable ranges. CONSTITUTION:When the vibration of a wire electrode 1, which is detected by vibration detecting heads 9, 10, in a wire-cut spark erosion machining process, is within an allowable range, a signal ''1'' is issued from a discriminating circuit 13. Further, the discharge condition in a machining gap is detected by a detecting resistor 12 and is discriminated by a discriminating circuit 13, and if the detected value is within an allowable range, a signal ''1'' is issued. Both signals are subjected to logic AND in an AND circuit 14, and only when the output of the circuit 12 is ''1'', oscillation is maintained to be produced by a pulse generating circuit 8. |
