PURPOSE:To shorten a copying time by quickening a moving speed of an optical system when it is returned to a scanning start position. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit 45 energizes and drives a pulse motor 31 for moving an optical system. The circuit 45 drives to rotate the pulse motor 31 forward or backward in accordance with a rotating direction designating signal from a microprocessor 41. At the time of a forward rotation (when the optical system goes forward), it is driven by a one-two phase energizing system, and at the time a backward rotation (when the optical system is returned), it is driven by a two phase energizing system. As a result, a reciprocating time of the optical system is shortened, and a copying time can be shortened. |
