PURPOSE:To obtain a small highly accurate electronic time piece with limited current consumption by connecting a capacitance to an oscillation circuit so as to minimize current consumption while the division ratio of a division means is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 104, a capacitor 105 and a small variable capacitor 106 with a small capacity are connected to both ends of a quartz vibrator 101 of an oscillation circuit 1' and the capacities of the capacitors 104, 105 and 106 are determined to minimize the power consumption of the circuit 1'. According to the capacity of the capacitor 106, an oscillation output of the circuit 1' varies to finely adjust time information. On the other hand, the division ratio of the second division stage 4 for dividing the oscillation output changes at a fixed time interval according to the adjusting value of clock rate set for clock adjusting contacts 10a-10d through a division control circuit 3 for rough adjustment of time information. This produces a small highly accurate electronic time piece longer in the lifetime with limited power consumption. |
