PURPOSE:To indicate the azimuth of a continuously varying targe smoothly without subdividing the azimuth resolution by equally dividing the angle of resolving azimuth into (n) so that memory contents having (n) kinds of directivity patterns written are read out and displayed at each equal center azimuth. CONSTITUTION:A directivity pattern corresponding to aximuth written into a memory 20 is selected by a target azimuth signal from a CPU 10 and four kinds or the like of resolution directivity patterns with the angle of resolving azimuth equally divided into four or the like are selected and read out according to lower bits of the target azimuth signal. Then, to form a fluctuation, a random data is multiplied with a multiplier 5 and thus, the azimuth of a continuously varying target can be indicated on a display 7 without subdividing the azimuth resolution thereby enabling the display of a video simulating a sailing sound. |
