PURPOSE:To calibrate an oil inhibiting instrument by using reference weight type pressure gage using an oil, by filling the oil and water in the inside and outside of bellows, which are provided in the hollow part of a converter device, and transmitting pressure between both liquids. CONSTITUTION:Rubber bellows 4, whose one end is closed, are coupled to an end opening 3 of a hollow part 1 having a hermetically sealed structure in a converter device 2. A reference wieght type pressure gage 21 is connected to a connecting port 5. An instrument to be calibrated is connected to a connecting port 6. At the time of calibration, the outside of the bellows is filled with water from a water injecting port 8. The inside of the bellows is filled with the oil of the reference pressure gage and a specified pressure is applied. Then the bellows are expanded, and the water around the bellows is pushed. Since the bellows themselves have almost no elastic power, the oil pressure in the bellows becomes the pressure of the water intactly based on the Pascal's principle. Thus the calibration of the instrument to be calibrated is performed. Therefore, the calibration of the oil inhibiting instrument can be performed by the reference instrument using the oil.
