PURPOSE:To improve the safety when all wheels are soft and the responsiveness when all wheels are hard by controlling the steering characteristics in response to the constrol of the suspension characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A steering rudction gear 50 changes the steering characteristics by transmitting the rotation of an upper steering shaft 2a to a lower steering shaft 2b reductively or directly depending on outputs of a controller 30. The outputs 30b, 30c of the controller 30 energize or deenergize solenoids 21a, 22a thus change the air spring characteristics turning the laison with actuators 21A, 22A On or OFF, and outputs 30d, 30e energize or deenergize solenoids 21b, 22b, thus changing the damper characteristics and suspension characteristics. Accorddingly, the steering characteristics can be controlled by following the suspension characteristics change by the controller in response to the steering angle. |
