PURPOSE:To perform automatically analyses of plural samples of deoxypentose nucleic acid by providing a device which moves a position sensitive proportional counter adhered tightly to an electrophoresis plate at right angles to the migration direction. CONSTITUTION:A device M which moves parallel a position sensitive proportional counter (PSPC) 2 adhered tightly to an electrophoresis plate 1 having electrolytes S1, S2 at both ends on the plate 1 in the direction at right angles B to the electrophoresis direction A of a deoxypentose nucleic acid (DNA) sample. The device M is controlled by a computer. The analysis is performed automatically by a required number while the PSPC 2 is moved by such device for a prescribed distance. The detection is thus made possible in an extremely short time without the aid of manpower and the plural DNA samples changing momentarily are measured simultaneously. |
