PURPOSE:To improve reliability in preventing corrosion by depositing a material of the same type as a corrosion preventing plating film by build-up welding on a weld heat-affected zone then forming the corrosion preventive plating film thereon and welding a welding material of the same type as the plating material on the joint part. CONSTITUTION:A metal similar to a plating material is deposited by build-up welding 20 on the welding groove in the inside part of a shell 10 and an end plate 11 to be subjected to plating. The inside surface is then plated 2 thereon and the shell 10 and the plate 11 are joined by a welding material 21 similar to the plating material 2 and the build-up welding material 20. The top layer part is filled with a welding material 1. Then the plating 2 rides on the build-up welded part 20 and since the material 21 is similar to the plating material 2, the decrease in a corrosion preventive function is obviated even if the melting and stripping of the plating 2 arises the welding. There is no need for inspection. |
