PURPOSE:To provide a high heat dissipating performance to an HDA (head disc assembly) regardless of the internal circulating system by adopting a duplicated construction to the case of a magnetic disc, sealing a medium having a high heat conductivity in its space and dissipating the heat generated in the case to the outside of the case. CONSTITUTION:The HDA cover 3 is formed as the duplicated construction, and a fluid 20 being a medium having a high heat conductivity possible for the evaporation cooling is sealed in the gap 18. The cover 3 and a fin 17 are bonded so as to minimize the heat resistance. The fin 17 is cooled forcibly by a blower 15 and an air guide 19. The generated heat conducts from the cover 3 to the fin 17 directly. Further, the heat reaching the side face of the cover 3 is delivered to the fin 17 by the operation of the fluid 20. Through the operation, the temperature of the fin 17 is increased much more than the case without heat transfer from the side face of the cover 3. Further, the heat dissipating efficiency of the fin 17 is improved by the fin 17 and the air flow 21 cooling it to increase the heat dissipation of the cover 3. |
